Children & Youth

Our youth ministry,  is a specific area focused on engaging and supporting young people within the church community. Our ministry involves programs, activities, and events designed to help our young people grow in their faith, develop a relationship with Jesus Christ, and become active members of the church. 

Our Core Purpose:

Spiritual Growth

We aim to foster spiritual development in young people through Bible study, prayer, worship, and other faith-based activities. 
We provide a space for young people to connect with their peers, build friendships, and feel a sense of belonging within the church community. 

Community Building

Discipleship

The youth ministry often focuses on equipping young people to become lifelong followers of Jesus Christ, encouraging them to live out their faith in their daily lives.
Our youth ministry plays a vital role in nurturing the next generation of church leaders and active members. 

Future Church Leaders

Outreach

We engage in outreach programs to connect with and share our faith with young people outside the church. 

Our Typical Activities Include

  • Bible Studies: Dedicated time for learning and discussing the Bible. 
  • Worship Services: Opportunities for young people to participate in worship, often with music and other creative elements. 
  • Social Events: Game nights, outings, retreats, and other social activities to build relationships and have fun. 
  • Service Projects: Opportunities for young people to serve within the church and community. 
  • Mentoring and Discipleship: Older members of the church often mentor and disciple younger members, providing guidance and support. 

Youth Recreational Committee

Charge:

Provide toys, games, sport equipment for all ages of youth at KSMBC events. Supervise use of games etc., at all events indoor or outdoor.  To maintain and store equipment. Alert Deacon Edward Coleman and/or the Finance Ministry when equipment needs to be replaced or repaired.

KSMBC Events:

Youth Day, Fun Day, Picnic, Youth Parties, Back-to-School Celebrations.
