Pastor
Bishop Charles D. Watkins was born in El Dorado, Arkansas but resided in St. Louis, Missouri where he graduated from Beaumont High School. He Served 6 years in the Air Force from 1974-1980 & retired from the Air Force Reserve after serving 14 years. He continued his education and became a graduate of the Arkansas Baptist College and a graduate of the Morris Booker Seminary both in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is the former Pastor of the New Light Baptist Church from 1993-2002 and the former President of Congress of Christian Education Golden Rule District, both in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Bishop Watkins moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin along with his wife Sister Linda Watkins. They were married for 35 years before she was called to glory. They have three children.
Currently serving as Pastor of the King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church since 2002 he Co-founded S.O.U.L.S (Solomon’s Outreach & Urban Learning Succession). Current treasurer and instructor for the Wisconsin General Baptist State Convention and current Christian education director of Divine Concord. He served as President of the Wisconsin Baptist Pastor Conference 2012-2018, Taught Synoptic Gospel, and Church & Society for the Wisconsin General Baptist State Convention 2006-2010.
He is the 1st Assistant to the presiding Bishop Prentise Vann of the Devine Concord and on June 23, 2024, he was Consecrated as Bishop Charles D. Watkins – a title bestowed upon him by the Devine Concord.
In his spare time, he loves his karate class, he loves to cook, and he loves to learn new things especially when it comes to the Bible. He is truly a man of God.
Church Administrator
The Church Administrator at King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all church activities and administrative functions. This individual is responsible for managing daily operations, overseeing church office staff,
coordinating events, maintaining records, and handling communications both within the congregation and with external partners.
As the main point of contact for the church, the Church Administrator is the central figure for all inquiries, correspondence, and requests. Whether it’s members seeking information about church events, new visitors requesting guidance, or outside organizations wishing to collaborate, all communications are directed through the Church Administrator. This ensures consistency, clarity, and timely responses to everyone involved with King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church.
The Church Administrator manages incoming phone calls, emails, and written correspondence, and is responsible for relaying important messages to pastors, ministry leaders, and other church staff. By acting as the primary liaison, the Church Administrator fosters an inviting and organized atmosphere, helping members and guests feel welcomed and supported.

The Church Administrator is essential to the daily life and long-term success of King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church. By serving as the main point of contact, this role ensures that all communications are handled professionally and that the needs of the congregation and community are met with care and efficiency.
Upon recommendation of the Bishop or Pastor of the Church, individuals are elected to the honorable position of a Deacon because their life exhibits characteristics of faithfulness and loyalty both to the Lord and the Church. King Solomon MBC Deacons give major attention to serving God under the leadership of Bishop Charles D. Watkins. They are active in helping the Church function and grow. They are peace-makers, preserving harmony in the Church and are Servants assisting the Pastor as directed. Three passages in the New Testament are cited concerning the office of Deacon: Acts 6:1-7, Philippians 1:1, and I Timothy 3:8-12. Deacons must remember, as Jesus said, "The greatest among you will be your servant." (Mt 23:11).
